1. What is a license
key?
2. How do I authorize
using my license key?
3. Can I authorize
without having an Internet access?
1. What is a license key?
License key is an encryption key which will be issued for you
upon purchasing of one or more BusyRay licenses. Using your license key you can
download and authorize commercial versions of BusyRay.
2. How do I authorize using my license key?
Start 3DS MAX. Choose BusyRay as your production renderer. Go to
'Renderer' page of 'Render Scene' dialog of 3DS MAX. You should have there
a 'BusyRay Authorization' rollout as depicted below. Follow instructions of this
rollout. After you have pasted authorization code, press 'OK'. If authorization
went fine, 'BusyRay Authorization' rollout should disappear and you should be
able to render images using BusyRay.

3. Can I authorize without having an Internet access?
Yes. In this case you have to save your request code to a file, go to
computer that has Internet access (can be Internet cafe for example), get your
authorization code, copy it to a file, return to your computer and feed
authorization code to BusyRay.
4. If I change my hardware or software, will BusyRay still work?
BusyRay protection system is sensitive to change of hard drives, processors,
memory, network adapters, and reinstall of operating system. After you changed some of these PC parts or reinstalled
your operating system, most probably
you will be requested to repeat authorization. If the changes of your
configuration were not dramatic, you will be allowed to authorize again.
